Bora Bora - French Polynesia

Bora Bora






Bora Bora is a small South Pacific island northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. Surrounded by sand-fringed motus (islets) and a turquoise lagoon protected by a coral reef, it’s known for its scuba diving. It's also a popular luxury resort destination where some guest bungalows are perched over the water on stilts. At the island's center rises 727m Mt. Otemanu, a dormant volcano.


What to do in Bora Bora ?

1. 4x4 Jeep Safari



Enjoy an adventurous ride around the island of Bora Bora on a 4X4 Jeep Safari. Visit 3 villages and 4 lookout points where you`ll get an amazing view over the lagoon.

2. Mount Otemanu



Mount Otemanu is the highest point on Bora Bora. There is the option to hike Mount Pahia, even though nobody has successfully scaled to the top due to the summit being composed of brittle vocanic rock, according to the locals and previous tourists, the mountain can be best viewed from below.

3. Matira Beach


Matira Beacha is often listed as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world,  everybody on the island is welcome on this beach. There is a refreshing, modifying atmosphere that offers safe swimming and convenient snorkeling.

4. Scuba and Snorkeling







The Bora Bora Lagoon is home to hundreds of dazzling tropical fish species, sting rays, manta rays and reef sharks. Bora Bora offers snorkelers of all levels a gratifying lagoon environment to explore. If you are an advanced snorkler, Bora Bora offer's a tour to witness the sharks outside the reef in the royal pacific ocean. You will not be disappointed !

5. Tupitipiti Point


One of the most famous dive sites in Bora Bora is Tupitipti Point. The site is known for its purple coral and steep drop off. Divers can often see sharks, sting rays, groupers, and parrotfish.
