Claudia, helped to edit the subtitles into the video while Bill helped to fast forward the video. "Hidden Asia" - Siem Reap, Cambodia

Siem Reap is considered a part of “Hidden Asia”. Located in North-Western Cambodia (South-East Asia), Siem Reap is known for its hidden treasures and traditional Asian culture. Cambodia is often a forgotten country amongst many other Asian destinations due to its low standard of living; however, this provides any given traveller a unique experience.

Cambodia map

The World Heritage listed Angkor Wat is definitely a place to visit in Siem Reap. It is a series of temples that contains remains of the Khmer civilisation. Many Cambodian locals travel daily to the temples to pray and worship. Hollywood has also visited the site, with Tomb Raider filmed on the premises.

A trip to the War Museum where there is a vast array of vehicles, artillery, weaponry, landmines and equipment from the Pol Pot era is definitely worth a visit. The museum gives a real insight to the political regime and Cambodian life before, during and after the dictatorship.

The markets are another fascinating location to venture to in Siem Reap. The markets provide a place for locals and tourists to purchase from Cambodia’s two main industries, manufacturing and agriculture, and you are sure to pick up a high quality produce or furniture at a great price.

Be sure not to overlook “Hidden Asia” and book a trip to this unique country to experience real Asian culture and tradition! You will not be disappointed!

The "Heart of Europe" - Prague

Often referred to as the "Heart of Europe", Prague is one of those historic cities that looks incredible no matter what the time of day or year it is.

Prague is situated on the banks of the river Vltava and among its 30+ bridges and footbridges is the medieval Charles Bridge. It's stonework is stunning and it gives you an amazing vantage point to see both the river and the city itself so make sure you go there! Farmers' and flea markets are held on the embankments of the river in warmer months and are worth a visit so you can stock up on wonderful fresh produce and quirky items.

Another spot worth mentioning is the popular tourist location called Karlovy Lazne, which is a 4 story club that has each floor dedicated to a different music genre.

Above all, be sure to visit the observation deck of old Town Hall in order to marvel at the city that throbs with atmospheric charm and is decorated with hundreds of towers and spires. You won't be sorry you did!
